BlueSky post by @lauren.rotatingsandwiches.com that reads, “if they’re drinking nounwine it’s fantasy. if they’re snorting a verb it’s sci fi.”
I checked out https://rotatingsandwiches.com/ from her @, and damn, that page did deliver.
Four sandwiches rotated in the opposite direction to all the other sandwiches.
I’m tempted to email the enquiries email to ask about this.
Didn’t know what to expect, but that’s the most incredible page I’ve seen
Fuck, now I’m hungry
i emailed them:
Hello,
I found your website and wondered what a spinning sandwich email would be like. I would like to request one email, please.
This is the kinda content I came for
Damn! Now you made me hungry!
Klingons drinking blood wine: am I a joke to you?
Shit, I don’t know if there’s any snorting of substances in Trek. Maybe Lower Decks or Strange New Worlds, haven’t watched those.
In TNG’s first episode they show the military types during the Q court scenes snorting some ‘drug’.
There was the Grand Negus’ Beetle Snuff in DS9, but I don’t recall them having a cool verb nickname for it.

From 2 years ago.
I mean snuff is already a verb meaning to inhale a powder
I think OOP is thinking of cyberpunk specifically.
I mean, earth getting united and working together with aliens? It’s clearly fantasy.
Fucked up in the holodeck snorting exfoliate
Nounwine I get but snorting a verb? Snorting a walk? Snorting a stab??? I don’t get it, what am I missing?
Edit: Thank you! I get it now, though I’m not sure it’s as prevalent as nounwine.
“snorting Sizzle”
“snorting Float”
“snorting Glide”
etc.Me in the club at 2 AM, snorting clench
a line of Soar
a bump of Elevate
a pinch of TranscendSnorting snort.
Snorting launch. Snorting hack. Snorting go. The possibilities are endless.
But what if they offer to sell you death sticks?
Then you need to go home and rethink your life.
If you’re mainlining adjective it’s cyberpunk
What if you’re having a snifter of Turbowine?
Lauren be drinking too much box wine.
