0·9 hours ago- Same can be said for anything the US government has reported, and especially any statement by the Trump administration. The US forced other countries to join a war based on falsified information, and Trump is continuing this trend. In contrast, countries in Europe have never had to join a war because of demands from China.
- China is literally the factory of the world. They have an enormous power hunger. Yes they invest in coal because they have plenty of that. But they are also leading in renewables. US invests in coal and is NOT leading, they are in fact falling behind most other developed countries.
- Anyone can Google and see that’s no longer a given. This Thursday the US tops the charts with the worst air quality levels: https://www.iqair.com/world-air-quality-ranking
- That 2015 figure is about shallow unfiltered groundwater, for which the US conveniently has no metrics. China is increasing water quality at an extremely rapid pace, while the US water quality doesn’t improve on average. There isn’t a huge gap anymore.
- Lucky for us, because literally all developed nations rely on China to do this dirty work. But it’s not that we aren’t responsible for the ecological footprint of our products if we let someone else dig up the minerals for us.
