0·2 months agoAs a Swede… I can say that the americanization over the last decades has been bothering me deeply. We never needed to import “Halloween” the way they celebrate it in the US, I never asked to have strangers ringing my doorbell every october. The anti-America sentiment has definitely been growing in many circles in Sweden for decades, I would say it is just getting more visible these days.
I am not entirely sure that is a Vista thing. I recall repairing and reinstalling 95, 98 and XP for less tech savvy friends for this same reason.
