The single fringe edge doesn’t really provide enough…. Depth? To fulfill the illusion, and while I see it also appears to follow the front layers up, the back still needs more, imo.

How would the maintenance differ from normal long hair? I can imagine the red dye getting washed out a bit, but that wouldn’t look too bad either.
My hair stylist sister said that this is actually just hair extensions.
