CNC cut from 12mm plywood. Maybe I should send a job application to IKEA?.

That isn’t nearly value-engineered enough for IKEA. Try again, using cardboard this time.

(No offense meant to IKEA, BTW; in fact I’m sitting at a cardboard IKEA desk as I type this.)

My first thought from the thumbnail was a kids play station. I suppose that’s exactly what it is though.

It’s mostly for aesthetics and proper air flow. Each level is just as deep as the device’s footprint demands and the shape of the sides simply follows that.

Ah okay, are you running the firmware from I believe UniSoft from the EEVBlog? I can only recommend it. I also did the WiFi module for better wireless performance etc. but I did not like the refresh rate and stability, so sick to the terrible form factor micro-USB.

Not OP but when I got my first degree in electronics I wanted to go 50/50 to either woodworking or engineering, I chose the latter and continued to learn the former myself. Sometimes I regret that choice

Nice! Might I suggest you add something to keep the scope from sliding backwards on plug in events? I’ve pushed mine back too many times to count.
