There’s a famous show runner that has my name. And there’s a ton of us according to Facebook. So it’s nice to be fairly anonymous. Googling my name might send you down a rabbit hole, but not me.

There is a book series with my name as the main character’s first name and I really really dislike reading my first name… I actually run a find and replace on the epubs before I read anything in that series.

My only experience with this was The Rescuers Down Under, and since I was about 4 or 5, the result was me wanting to watch the movie with my name it in over and over.

Watching Finding Nemo was fine. What really messed me up was Eleven’s flashbacks in Stranger Things where she’s screaming “PAPA!”

that’s what my kids call ME

Yeah, watching Superman and Smallville is a bit awkward for me sometimes.

My name is so white bread and common it’s hilarious. There were 5 of us in my medium high school. But my first name was mainly given out for a 1-2 year period due to a popular song when out mom’s were pregnant. So despite being common, I never see it in novels or movies.

I haven’t put much thought into how I feel about it, but I do know that when my wife watches a romantic movie where Keanu Reeves says her name frequently, I end up having a pretty good night, even if I was in the other room the entire evening.

I think its a bit jarring when the character first gets introduced but then I get used to it pretty quickly.

Sometimes I like to think of some of the dialogue in context with my actual life to amuse myself.
