edit = I’ve been told that there was a deleted scene in The Avengers that showed Barton racing from one cache of arrows to another while fighting. But then , how did he have all those caches?

One of the most interesting things about the Spider-Man cannon to me is that they keep flipping back-and-forth between he can generate the web biologically and it’s a device that he made and that neither seems to affect the story really. Honestly, I’ve never been able to decide which version I like better. Growing up I was a bit more partial to the biological version just because that’s what I was first exposed to. On the other hand, I was a fan of Steel, Iron Man, and Batman, for their self-made superheroness so I liked the idea of the homemade web shooter too.
The live action Spiderverse had a hilarious moment where the other Spideys were absolutely horrified by seeing one of the biological web shooters (Maguire)
