I really hate that the options are limited and not that good even the paid ones I don’t care if it’s ai slop whatever i just want a good open source video editing software without ads if it exists
Maybe there’s a way to run some desktop apps through FEX?
What’s that
FEX is the new x86–>ARM compatibility layer from Valve.
If you don’t care if it’s AI, honestly, just sign up for a month of claude and vibe code what you want with opus. The code won’t exactly be trustworthy, but more-so than if you download someone else’s vibe coded app.
bunny media editor ☞ https://f-droid.org/packages/eu.artectrex.bunny/
Bunny is the most okay video editor I’ve used on a phone.
I like how one of their screenshots has another screenshot in it

*slop source
open source needs to be better
People really want to get rid of the desktop
you can try CutWire Drift on the website https://cutwire.org/drift or librecuts, which is located in f-droid
Cutwire seems very good but it’s a bit heavy. I’ve used LibreCuts for a while and it’s very simple but advanced enough for me
Librecuts actually looks good. I say without having tried it. But it looks polished from the screenshots.
there was a non foss one i used (iirc nodevideo? smth like that) but it wasn’t great.
i recommend kdenlive in termux
