    If you smoke, quitting is the number one thing you can do to improve your physical and mental health. In the US you can call 1-800-QUIT-NOW or visit Lung.org for free evidence-based resources to help with quitting.

      I know you’re probably joking, but in case anyone actually believes this: there is nothing the average person can do to balance out the negative health effects of smoking. No amount of exercise and healthy eating can cancel out inhaling poison.

        I used to smoke but then I started bike commuting and the urge to smoke diminished quickly. If anything, exercise should highlight just how bad smoking makes you feel.
