    Is that something related to auditory processing disorder? I just realised I might have this.

    Also when on a call with people and the connection is bad or there is background noise.

    And some people I can straight up not understand at all. They use 10 filler words for every actual word they want to say, and i can never seems to put things together into some coherent message they are trying to convey

      i think so yeah. like my brain cares more about making me aware of all the meaningless noise in the room than figuring out what someone is saying -.- there are definitely people i have a harder time understanding. there have been times someone has repeated something to me like 10 times and its just like… you need to use different words i have no fucking idea what youre trying to say to me lol.

        I have a problem like this with accents. When I went to highschool it took me a long time to finally understand a guy whose parents are vietnamese. It was definitely 100% grammatically correct with more or less local accent, but the distinction took me embarrassingly too long to learn gradually.
