This is sad, I didn’t know he was racist. Is there other alternative? I wanted to get my cousin get into Linux, omarchy looked great, maybe I will stick to Ubuntu. Anything else that has good UI? maybe I can borrow ideas(steal) from someone else’s setup
I love and have run Garuda for years now. It is a pretty good pre-configured Arch derivative, and you can easily choose among different UI styles and desktop environments. Super easy to install as well.
Plus, the Dr460nized Gaming Edition comes with conflicting package managers, so you can get the training wheels on for being a power user!

Lots of good options, but plain ol Fedora with KDE can look great and is reliable, or if you want something more experimental like omarchy then CachyOS would be good.
Just learn Arch it’s got a slight difficulty curve but it’s a great way to get into Linux. Excellent wiiki for reference and a huge mostly positive community. Then, when you’re ready for the next adventure you can come on over to nix 🤓

Trendy distros for cool kids right now are, for instance, CachyOS or Bazzite. No need to support Nazis.
Try Kubuntu. Its Ubuntu, which is perfectly fine for beginners, and it uses the KDE UI which is easy to use with a lot of options

It you want a good, well maintained Arch based distro, check out Garuda. It’s been rock solid for me.
