My fav is the ones that just say fuck it and make the whole bathroom into a shower; as if people don’t keep anything else in the bathroom, like idk towels or the clothes you’re putting on after you shower…

    I didn’t want a practical bathroom anyway…

Honestly, if it was built right, that would be the perfect type of bathroom. Imagine a bathroom where all the surfaces are water proof. Then, when it’s time to clean the bathroom, you just hose everything down the floor drain!

My uni dormitory bathroom was like that, a very tiny off-white plastic cube with a toilet, sink and shower in no more than about 2 square meters.

It looked like crap, especially with aging year by year, but it was really easy to clean indeed. Though if everything gets wet regularly, mold also has an easier time spreading, so we needed to do that “easier” cleaning more often as a result

This is the way most Japanese showers are set up, and it works well because the shower/tub, toilet, and sink/storage area are three separate rooms.

Here is a (simplified approximation of a) common layout:

When the shower is literally alone in its own room, that’s a little different.

I’m talking about when the full bathroom; toilet, sink, and shower, are all in the one uninterrupted space.

Did Dave piss on the damn toilet seat again, or is it just splash from the shower? 🤷🏻

Dont you just leave clothes in the spa area outside your shower room? I find it easier to dress there anyway since it got more room for movement
