Willows are unpleasant. Their roots will get all up in your pipes.
And they drop a zillion tiny leaves in the Fall, that are difficult to rake up.
As a kid, we had a giant willow in our backyard, that got hit by lightning and split down the middle. So my dad had it taken down, but kept all the wood, and split it for firewood. It popped so badly in the fireplace, that our dog wouldn’t stay in the room when a fire was going, because the constant popping disturbed her so much.
The logs needed drying. Or the joke might have been too dry for me to notice, in which case please roast me
