That way, you could easily monitor how much you are spending because you physically see how much you’re spending. If you pay mostly or everything by card, it becomes harder to monitor how much you are spending because you don’t physically that you are reaching your budget limit.
I admit I used to prefer to pay by cash but the pandemic changed my habit and everyone else’s. It doesn’t help that establishments are increasingly demanding cashless transactions.
