    I’ve broken my desktop by running a pacman -Syu a few times. That was hardly my fault unless you consider my choice to use a rolling distro to be a fault in itself.

      Isn’t Arch the distro where you’re supposed to read the update announcements and react to issues accordingly? Obviously someone is going to experience an issue for the first time, but a proper Arch user takes on a lot of responsibilities that e.g. Debian users don’t accept.

      That tends to happen once in a while, usually because of Nvidia. One time happened because of GRUB update though I wasn’t affected that time since I was using systemd-boot. That’s not the reason I moved over to Void but gotta say I’m quite happy with the slower pace of rolling-release.
