I constructed everything in Fusion360 and cut the wood layers on a CNC. The parchment layer was cut with a foil cutting machine.

What CNC are you using? And how large (small) were the bits?
The mechanical parts are a CompactLine 8050 from Sorotec (German manufacturer), Spinogy X22 spindle, and the electronics are custom.
For cutting the rose pattern I used a 15° “RazorPoint” V-carving bit, which worked remarkably well. I have basically zero-radius corners at the bottom.
So not quite the cheap stuff I guess 😂 Had also looked at this one and I’m afraid one day it’ll end up with one as well
