I won’t play in a hypothetical given in bad faith when I have given the answer. You are trying to draw out an answer to the question “what words do I use to convince people I am not a racist?” And the answer is “There are none. You must behave in an unracist like manner to demonstrate that you are not racist.” There are no additional details no matter how unfair you feel that may be.
You cannot control what other people think or feel, you may only demonstrate yourself to them through actions and behaviors. Lots of people will not like you on first sight because of one preconceived notion or another. There is nothing you can do about that. You can only control yourself.
Sometimes there’s no time for actions as in when you’re first meeting someone or even a group of people. For sure my views or mindset have been under scrutiny from the get go in my life. If you want to say my actual lived experience is an argument in bad faith you’re free to but I politely disagree such circumstances are purely contrived.
Nothing you say will ever reassure anyone that you aren’t a racist more than just not being a racist.
Of course actions speak louder than words but that is a bit outside the hypothetical given.
