I was surprised to learn the US actually is 43% renewable+nuclear. Plus almost all new generation is renewable.
China gets a lot of attention because they’re still building out their grid, but the US hasn’t been doing bad at transitioning. Our biggest issue is slow adoption of electric cars, but I largely blame Trump for that.
Wow California has a lot of renewable energy. Even if all of it’s imports are fossil fuels that’s still pretty good.
