real life image of the freezer thing

this ones even under 50 kB!!! see how somewhat storage-aware i am?

its pretty hot outside still. today its the 40+° we’ve been told about.
im doing fine, but how are you holding up?

out strawberries and other parts of the garden not so well… im watering them well but they just don’t go well in the heat-

i really recommend having like - at least a glass of water always around. even if ur not a constant drink person like i am, the convenience makes u drink more.

EDIT: aaaaa u peeps! i want u to comment on this post so i got peeps to respond to!! >o<
im in a respond to comments on my post KI da mood and - and i need u to cooperate… please ~

So far my little part of the world has been blessed with mild weather this season. People are complaining about the rain which I find dumb considering the last five summers were brutal droughts. The snails are having a blast.

Take care of yourself, stay cool and hydrated! Your content rocks :3

we dont use the ac thing yet cuz idunno why- dont feel like it.

am alone at home and that thing is louuuud outside so- i dont wanna disturb the elderly lurking neighbours who are also blasting AC sounds at us.

but yes, cooking heats the kitchen fast.

As someone who grew up in a sunny place, there’s no way I could manage in 40° weather without AC. It can easily get hotter inside than outside, and at that temperature it can literally be deadly. Heat kills hundreds of thousands every year, and it heat wave related fatalities can rival natural disasters.

All that is to say, use your dang AC. If you really want to be considerate to your elderly neighbors, check on them to make sure they’re staying cool, as the elder are especially at risk.

In a well insulated house usually not. You might need to keep windows dark. But especially attic rooms can be problematic afaik

I don’t own an AC, but here it’s pretty much never >30º for two weeks in a row and not more then two nights in a row not getting colder than 25º

ye, i was crazy sick this week and ohboy i wasnt doing too well, genuinely thought about calling… a type of ambulance at some point… but that time is now over.

that was two days ago, my sickness is almost gone now and over the next two days temps will sink below 30°.

im fiiiiine- the elderly ARE running AC so they shouuuld be fine so - ye.

      ohgosh ohno really?

imean - im sitting in the living room and its 30.0°C in here and i have water and a bottle of frozen water.

might add a fan too. its doable. im still wearing long sleeve for the comfies. we have an air conditioning unit but its too loud outside so i dont wanna disturb the neighbours… besides them also having one on which is somewhat kinda a but noisy. but i dont wanna stoop to their… niveau.

drink plenty, have a frozen water bottle to put under your feets 🐾 or near whatever part u want and u can do it.

im also veeery much in low power mode so that helps too. makes my action space feel limitless because i dont notice the limits.

im getting soooome of those “pain sounds” which come at extreme heat, but they are not too annoying yet.

I get the sentiment, but literally nobody is outside

        What are pain sounds?

but also ye ur right… ur riiiiight i should just use it sigh but not its too late and like- tomorrow its gonna be cooler and on Monday its gonna be sub-30 so itll be fine again…
