  • It really depends on context. I bet you’re both right regarding where you live. In my home town some streets have large vehicles whiz right next to sidewalks (no parking buffer), and there’s a nice quiet bike lane with a grass buffer further away. The small number of cyclists and pedestrians often share the bike lane with no issue at all. Furthermore there are zones where multi-use paths are clearly indicated as shared space, especially in large parks, or over large bridges. On the other hand if I cross the river to the big city I’d never dare step by foot into those heavy traffic bike lanes.

  • I dunno about this particular bastard but honey badgers absolutely do fight and repel lions. From good ol’ wikipedia:

The honey badger is famous for its strength, ferocity and toughness. It is known to savagely and fearlessly attack almost any other species when escape is impossible, reportedly even repelling much larger predators such as lion and hyena.

    Also:

In a 2018 study, it was found that the presence of large predators had no effect on the population of honey badgers in the Serengeti.

honey badger more like honey badass

  • “LLM is just to replace the boring parts”

    The boring parts so far:

    • Writing and reading emails (aka communicating in the written form with other humans)
    • Taking notes in meetings (aka paying attention to people when they speak to you)
    • Documenting systems (aka letting your future self know what was going on in [insert year])
    • Designing systems (aka letting your present self know what is going on)
    • Building systems (aka doing your fucking job)

What is even the non boring part? Ordering machines around? Whatever happened to “ideas are cheap execution is everything”?
