    Are they crazy? They don’t use any of that to make byproducts? You can glue a few pieces to make new wood slabs for example - of course, usually one-piece things cost more, but it’s a lot of material so it’s just weird it is not used at all!

      They’ve probably crunched the numbers, where storing inventory and the labour to piece stuff together is more costly than just tossing out the value of the wood.
