I know the answer is “most people don’t care,” but I’m consistently flabbergasted when I see anyone but the upper class continue to bank with Bank of America or Wells Fargo instead of a credit union.
I wish I saw people handing out pamphlets for that and other class conscious matters instead of religious tripe.
Funnily enough, there were pamphleteers who used to block access to a Wells Fargo in Seattle (in 2017, I think), pushing papers talking about the bank’s misdeeds (including their support for the oil industry and creating fake accounts for customers).
I needed to negotiate my way past, explaining that I don’t bank with Wells Fargo, but my landlady does, and I just need to deposit my rent check because it’s the first of the month. They told me that I should somehow convince my landlady to switch banks and I just stared back with unimpressed scorn.
