My friends in college knew I was gay before I did because of my love of Subarus.

I wish I could contest it but I can’t. Same with cuffed pantlegs and inhaling hummus. Must be something biological lol

In my experience, the “car guy” actually has pretty low driving ability. That’s why he has to spend $1000/mo on insurance.

As a self-proclaimed driving enthusiast, this is 1000% true. lol

Also, i say all the time: being a “good driver” includes being a safe and attentive driver—not just being capable of speeding.

All i do is subvert expectations, e36. But answering your question, WRX. Miatas are cool an all but they dont have that edge you know. Also i like station wagons but i do live in sweden so thats expected. Now tell me elder, does that car taste make me gay.

Well I used to have an e36 (with H&R cup kit and Eibach sway bars) and I’m straight so I guess it doesn’t mean much. I also had a couple miatas and an Audi TT though so I might just be in denial.

Car guy gets more autistic the higher up they go but don’t have to social support in their lives to be allowed anything except allistic behavior so they mask all the time which makes them tired and standoffish. Car guys like analog puzzles. Engines are like Rubiks cubes that go vroom.

outback driver here- i see so many old people driving foresters and outbacks. the younger queer people i see in subarus are usually in a crosstrek now. it’s definitely not the rule, but it’s it’s definitely a majority
