Like I get one’s the graphical shell, one’s the window manager, one’s the desktop manager, and one’s the compositor, but what each one does and how their responsibilities differ is still kinda foggy to me.

It makes sense that neon is the distro, though. That makes sense because I saw it listed as an option when I chose Endeavour.

The definition of primitive is literally an early rendition/version of something. It doesn’t mean “unsophisticated.”

If you’re interpreting ‘primitive’ as ‘unsophisticated,’ that’s a you problem, and it makes no sense to criticize others for using the term properly just because you don’t understand it.

According to some distros, source is reality. According to other distros, binary is reality. But the truth is in the middle way: binary and source are the same.
