Windows 10. End of life, constant nagging to update to W11 and my SSD dying created the perfect environment to change over.

On the plus side I’ve been using the libreoffice suite and frankly speaking it’s more or less comparable to what Windows offers for my needs. Their excel equivalent feels really jank though.

Aight time to try and learn Linux for the 10th time and see if someone without strong console knowledge can use one now.

Yeah no, software is made with the time and effort of the devs. And maintained with the time and effort of the devs. And good software usually reflects experience and skill of said devs and a usually a broader team as well.

Saying something isn’t worth anything just because the end result of the labour can be copy/pasted is insane.
