not in group chats and most people don’t care about it for 1-1 chats as well.

it’s not about cracking anything it’s about the telegram owners being able to read your messages???
infrastructure
lmao. it’s not that hard to rip a movie and create a torrent
you can encrypt backups in whatsapp but we might agree on whatsapp and telegram being equally bad then
no data breaches reported in telegram so far
yes they hand it out voluntarily, search term: telegram german authorities
do we live in current year or not?
yes and?
I don’t like whatsapp either but my claim still holds. e2ee by default for all chats is arguably more privacy respecting than opt-in e2ee for 1-1 chats only. and what metadata exactly does telegram encrypt but whatsapp does not?
no release group ever heard of something like a VPN or I2P?
chats are not e2e encrypted by default and group chats are never e2e encrypted. even whatsapp is e2ee for every chat.
interestingly it’s worse than whatsapp regarding privacy
Why don’t so called “release groups” create torrents like normal people what is this warez scene hierarchy circlejerk about??
For 1. you don’t necessarily need a VPN. A reverse tunnel using SSH should be sufficient and is easier.
Text-based subtitles mostly work. Picture-based subtitles require transcoding or a client that supports them.
Cinnamon is really one of the ugliest desktop environments and it’s still on X11 but good if it works for you
I have a RockPro64 and 2TB SSD connected with USB. I measure it at around 5,5W so in a month thats ~4 kWh electricity. For storage I think its not feasible to host it on a cloud, see https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/administration/storage/
buy the same book with another account and compare them. then you should be able to find out where the fingerprint is.
