It’s a weird assumption. Like I said, emulation for backward compatibility is common. Do they always just wait for some random strangers to implement an emulator for them?

And? I too really hate people using my toothbrush but have no problem using it myself. Is that embarrassing?
What’s so embarrassing? Emulation for backward compatibility is done all the times
A valid point tho. Generally it is difficult to ask everybody to learn a new language.
Did you use Spring back then? It would be a useful thing to learn. Might as well see if you like to do frontend things such as React / Vue
idk what you mean. She’s unambiguously a good mother figure to Fern.

That’s rude. OP could be working in the public sector.
Your project code structure should be independent of your hardware structure. Maybe include the config file to your local drive and setup some file sync to auto deploy those files to the mount drive? E.g. syncthing
What is this?
So like LINQ?
Git being useful decentralized doesn’t conflict with the fact that a centralized remote is convenient.
It’s more about that small old indie game instead of AAA games tho
I mean, it was embarrassing. But we can also say that embarrassing experience had shaped who you are today therefore it was necessary. Thank you for the retrospective Mr. brain guy.

You can have documents in Agile too
My to-read list proves that people who read are addicts too
I feel like this is more like a hammer vs bare hand situation. If the point is there is a place and time for everything (except VBA) then I agree.
No we don’t need it. But is it better if we use it? Like, you don’t need OOP for implementing literally anything either.
Is the implication that they won’t be able to write an in-house emulator? So did they wait for someone to port an SNES emulator to Switch before they can put those old games on their online service?
