Yeah exactly.
Not too fond of snap, but am trying KDE Neon now, as I’m a “experienced rookie”, but still have never tried any other DE than Gnome…

Thanks for the suggestion.
I have only ever tried Gnome (and a quick test of ElementaryOS and ZorinOS), but maybe it is time to try another DE.

Currently running Fedora on my ThinkPad T14 Gen 1, but the trackpad is hit or miss. It will either work splendid, or Tap-to-Click and scrolling are working 40% of the time…
I really like Fedora, but might just return to Ubuntu, as I had no issues with the trackpad there.
On Reddit, Sync Ultra was able to restore deleted comments and translate posts/comments in app.
I hate subscriptions as much as the next one, but I have never used Reddit, only Sync, and it is such a polished app, so I’m paying 3$ a month to keep ljdawson developing it to be even better.
So the money also goes towards keeping the developer interested and invested in his app.
I know plenty of free alternatives exists, and as of now you aren’t getting anything for your money that you couldn’t get elsewhere for free, but as of now I am loving having sync back.
You should try Summit - after tweaking for 5 minutes it’s what I wish Sync would look like. Aesthetically it’s awesome!!
Sync still wins based on functionality and ljdawson’s tendency to make sure everything works as intended, but I like the look of Summit more.
Having used KDE Neon for 10 minutes, I’ve had no issues with the trackpad…
If this is Ubuntu or KDE, dunno, but liking it so far .
