Lenins_Dumbbell wasn’t calling for European workers to overthrow anything though. They said they were glad Europe would suffer. That is not anti-imperialism, that is just enjoying other people’s misery.

Noted. Enjoy your day of whitewashing Russian imperialism.
Your resources documented war crimes, which I never denied. War crimes and ethnic cleansing are not the same thing, and none of your sources established systematic intent to remove an ethnic group, which is what ethnic cleansing actually requires. And your cherry on top turned out to be a word that doesn’t even mean what you claimed it meant.
Destroying an economy hurts workers and ordinary people first, not the ruling class. If your anti-imperialism requires 450 million people to suffer so the powerful lose power, that is just accelerationism with a nicer label.
Anti-imperialism is opposing domination. Celebrating that 450 million people will suffer economic destruction is not opposing imperialism, it is just enjoying the suffering. Those are different things.
It’s Wiktionary’s definition, not mine. Take it up with them.
You started with Firefox translating it as subraces proving ethnic cleansing. When that fell apart it became a homophobic slur used by fascists. Now it’s about Ukrainian homophobia in general. These are three different arguments. Homophobia being prevalent in Ukraine is a real issue worth discussing, but it has nothing to do with your original claim about ethnic cleansing, which you have now completely dropped.
Funny how it started as a list of subraces proving ethnic cleansing and is now just a homophobic slur. You moved the goalposts so far you’re in a different stadium. The word derives from педераст, which got slurred into пидорас in Russian street speech, then borrowed into Ukrainian as підарас. At that point it had already lost its literal meaning and became a general insult, the same way bastard stopped meaning someone born out of wedlock and asshole stopped being anatomical. That semantic drift is not a debating trick, it is just how language works, though I understand that might be a new concept.
Список підарасів is the Ukrainian equivalent of an enemies list, a common expression for people who have wronged you. The homophobic origin of the word is about as relevant to the meaning as calling someone a bastard is to questioning their parentage. It’s also a mass produced novelty you can buy online for 350 hryvnias, which Babel covered as a lighthearted story and Bohdan publicly joked about. Not exactly how fascists operate their roundup lists.
Glad we agree it’s a slur and not subraces. That was the whole point.
Wanting to destroy a system to liberate people from it is literally the definition of accelerationism regardless of what you call it.
lemmygrad user discovers accelerationism, more at 11.
The Firefox translation is of the headline, which uses an asterisk that breaks the word for the parser. The notebook itself spells підарасів in full with no asterisk. Google Translate, Wiktionary, and Ukrainian linguistic sources all agree on the meaning. Ukrainian press censored it because it is a slur. If it meant subraces there would be nothing to censor.
War crimes and ethnic cleansing are not the same thing. HRW documented shelling on both sides. You have been making this claim for hours and the best you can do is a Firefox parser error and a 2016 pro-Russian documentary. If this mountain of evidence is so convincing, why did Russia need to fabricate the Poroshenko cellar clip to make their case?
Fair point on the UN case timeline, I was wrong on that. The final ruling isn’t until 2028. That said, the ICJ already stated in 2022 it found no evidence of genocide by Ukraine. Russia’s genocide claim has found zero support in any international body so far.
The Poroshenko speech is still documented Russian disinformation from 2014, and підарас still means scumbag regardless of what the translation tool of your choice tells you.
Funny how detailed you got when I slipped up, but ‘we both know’ was enough for everything else.
I disproved every single point you have made. No link contained what you have claimed. The UN case went to Ukraine. The speach did not contain what you have claimed, the notebook did not either. Disproving your claims is not handwaving.
I asked you for simple proof, you keep ignoring it. Just say it: Sorry I was wrong, I will not falsely claim that Ukraine commited genocide.
And if you ignore that again I will just accept that as a silent apology as you clearly have nothing else going on that supports your claim.
I mean you could, at any point, proof your points. Like simply spelling out the word on the notebook. Just write it down. Come on, it is so easy.
Or if that is too much, how about linking that other UN case that must exist where Ukraine did not win the case.
So many opportunities, none taken. You can also simply accept that you have been lied to by others which lead to you believing a lie. It is okay to make mistakes.
Never seen someones argument fall apart so hard after manouvering themselves into a corner.
The wall of links, nothingburgers, the president who apparently said everything out loud taken completely out of context and then the dramatic notebook. A mistranslation that lead you into believing something to be true just because you wish for it to be so.
I mean you could have simply conseded the point instead of hammering down on your mistake.
Look at the notebook and show me the word that translates to what you claim it does.

What did you use to translate that page?
підарас translates to faggot/asshole/bastart.
So it is a list of bastards and has nothing to do with sub-races.

Noted! Reality is hard to accept. I wish you a pleasent day.
