the free clients are better anyway tbh
yes, and you said pleroma works in mastodon apps, and i said yes but at the cost of features
what’s the problem?
but pleroma and firefish can…
yeah, but missing quotes and emoji reactions, which are half of the fun
to answer the opposite of your question i would say it’s unethical to steal things from indie developers and creators; the same way its more wrong to steal from a local corner store than it is to steal from Walmart
because that’s google bot replying
some do and some are willing to learn
of course, some people are stuck in their ways but i think even the most average of laymen can see the enshittification of streaming (esp Netflix)
iOS probably not but I think you could run python stuff in termux for android
yeah exactly, for future use
i used it to copy my subscriptions to accounts i made on a few other instances, even though i have no worry Lemmy.ca will shut down any time soon, as a just in case
mastodon also has this feature built in and i would love to see it come to lemmy
it went offline and no one really knows what’s going on
Yes, find a smaller instance, mastodon.social is mid anyways and some servers have them defederated because of spam
smaller instances also usually have interesting local timelines compared to big ones
nope, so that’s probably it
nope, i tried manipulating votes from apollo once and got a warning
Doug Bowser will be at their doorstep shortly

https://wefwef.app has an identical UI to apollo
Dunno if people consider apple “ethical” but the pixelmator apps on macOS have quickly replaced photoshop and lightroom for most of the light edits I do. Affinity’s apps are solid and cross platform but with a steep learning curve imo, but more comprehensive options. Always resolve on all platforms for video of course.
