There is a wifi dongle that has drivers for linux, and says on the box linux support, but actually both the kernel and the provided drivers for the chipset are broken, you need to clone the github of the CHIP manufacturer, and compile it. After that, it works.

No there is AT LEAST use for this. You could create an options class with booleans, and you could toggle settings when running or debugging. Also less savvy people (other non software engineers) can toggle settings easier for internal tools.
