Yeah, I get the “wrecked angle” part which is why it’s in my versions. But “wrecked angle”—singular—doesn’t make sense for a square which has four angles.

But a square isn’t one angle.

Might work better as “Now it’s a bunch of wrecked angles.” Or “It broke into four wrecked angles.”

It’s like a memetic form of neoteny, “the retention of juvenile traits into adulthood.”
