Poor little buggers 😂.
Poor little buggers 😂.
The Chinese are probably the only ones thay aren’t scared to ship internationally 😂.
Black hole material right there.
I love answering questions as well, but I get tired at the end of the day. Yeah, my wife is also like that, so that’s why he usually comes to me for Q&A’s. I don’t mind, I love it as well, brushes on what I know and how/why things are what they are. But, as I said, at the end of the day, I’m just tired. Work, plus that, plus everything else going on in life and at 10PM I’m just drained, I just hit the hey 🤷.
Yeah 😂. To be honest, it looks like simple things, like they ask simple questions and the answers are usually not that hard to answer, but the volume of the questions, OMG 😂. At the end of the day you’re just tired, mentally mostly, but still, you’re tired nonetheless.
To be honest, I was never a mecha nerd. I mean, a few episodes of this or that, mostly at friend’s places, but I never watched anime or mecha on a daily basis. But yeah, I did understand the culture and the people (some of my friends were anime and/or mecha nerds).
That’s why I LOVED Megas 😂. It was an anime parody 😂. You don’t see too many of those, not to mention with good animations and made to look like it’s a dead serious show, lol.
Yeah, it was meant for a more mature audience, I mean there was a lot of sex related jokes and dialogue, lol. I wish they bring it back on Adult Swim 😭. I would pay good money to see new episodes of it… I really would, that is probably the one show from my childhood that I was like “huh 🤨… you show this to kids?.. that’s so cool 😂” (I wasn’t that young, I was like 17, 18, I understood the dialogue and the jokes).
What can I say, chicks dig giant robots man 🤷 🤟 😂.
Yep, first time I watched a movie in… 🤔, oh about 4 years I guess, was this weekend… and I fell asleep half way through the movie 😒. What can I say, I was tired 🤷… I’m getting old I guess.
My main thing is that I can’t really stand shows that have no substance - I’d much rather have shows that I can watch together with my 7yo and have things to call back to when we’re having our own disagreements and conversations.
I do that with movies with my son, not cartoons. I want things with substance too, but not in cartoons and not too much of it (in cartoons I mean). Sure, a nice thought here and there, that’s OK, but elaborate digging into emotional subjects, that’s not for cartoons IMO.
I can definitely see there being parents out there who would rather let the TV parent though, and shows like this one enabling them… but on the other hand, I also think that’s a positive for the shows. Bad parents are going to be bad parents, so at least in those cases a kid can at least find some kind of role model.
That is true I guess… as much as I’d hate to admit it…
Either way, different strokes and all that. Hope you’ve managed to find some good ones to watch these days!
Not really, I kinda gave up… plus, I’m way too busy rasing the kid now, so I just watch Discovery Science to relax now. Kinda contradictory, I know, lol 😂.
I just don’t like it, too serious for my taste, not enough humor, and the little humor it does have, it’s borderline funny. The main reson I don’t like it is exactly that, it’s like a self help show. I wanna be entertained, not drown in depression elaborating emotions. My wife does that, I have enough of that in my life, don’t need a show to do that as well.
Basically, I want humor in cartoons. IMO, they’re made to entertain, period. Some of the old shows may not have had adequate humor for children, granted (though I think it depends on the child, I’ve watched most of those shows while growing up and IMO they were all great), but that doesn’t mean they weren’t funny. They were hillarious. Cartoons nowadays are too serious, always mixing emotions and how to deal with them. My guess is that parrents noways wanna leave this educational aspect of the child to the TV too, so my guess is that kids watch these things cuz they don’t get any input from their parrents regarding these complicated subjects.
Forgot that one, also epic 👍.
The one that I’m the most bummed out about is Megas, I just loved that show, only 2 seasons man 🤦. There was a petition to keep doing it, but have no idea why CN pulled the plug, that show was epic anime satire, just loved it. Not to mention the score, people still share tracks from that show on YT.
Yep, forgot about that one, Rick and Morty rocks, but no new episodes are being produced as far as I know. Gumball, Rick and Morty, they are most definitely worth it.
It’s kinda like Beavis and Butthead for kids, lol 😂.
Why do you think they had no idea what they’re doing?
OMG, I forgot about that one, lol 😂. Yeah, from these new shows, that is one is most defintely worth it, love Gumball ☺️.
MegasXLR, Two Stupid Dogs, Courage, Billy and Mandy, Evil Concarne, Chowder… so many good shows…
Cartoons used to be hillarious. Now they’re just… boring if you ask me. I stopped watching CN after Steven Universe started, that was the last straw, I just couldn’t watch any more of that BS.
Dio is probably taking the 3 day poop challenge.
Well, many, to be honest. I have a few accounts, 2 on sh.itjust.works and 1 on lemmy.fmhy.ml. Some communities appear in results on one instance, others don’t, and vice versa. If you try to open up the community via your instance (my.instance/c/community@another.instance), it just returns a 404 🤷. This happens on both lemmy.fmhy.ml and sh.itjust.works. For example, I can see and join the OpenBSD community from my account on lemmy.fmhy.ml, but not from either of my accounts on sh.itjust.works. I can see other communities on that instance just fine, but that particular community, no.
And this happens with a lot if other communities as well, the OpenBSD one stuck in my mind cuz I really wanted to be in that one with all of my accounts, but I can only be with just 1 account.
Oh, and the pending thing 😒. The pending communities show up in my feeds, yet they’re still marked as pending. Cancel pending, subscribe again, wait a few days… yep, still pending.
It’s buggy, I know, but it’s new and all new things are, so I don’t really mind. I was meaning to make a bug report regarding some of these bugs on Lemmy, just haven’t gotten around to it.
PS: All of the searches regarding the communities were done in the web UI, so it’s not a Jerboa bug, it’s a Lemmy bug.
lol, that’s not the point dude.
Actually, no. If at least one user from your instance has subscribed to a community of another instance, that other instance’s communities show up in your search results (they are federated)… at least that is how it should work 100% of the time, but it doesn’t. In most cases, it doesn’t actually show all of the communities that would show up during a search, meaning the web UI would return a lot more results.
The method you’re using is actually a safe bet: specify the instace’s URL and don’t have to rely on whether that specific instance is federated with my instance, just search for communities there as well. That approach is easier if you actually have a link to the community which you’d like to add and the instance on which it resides. But, if you have no idea on what instance that community might reside, it’s easier to actually seach for it via the web UI, which I hoped would be implemented in an app sooner or later (having relevant results I mean).
Just use 1337x.
