Have a bottle of cool crisp water with you at all times.
I find that one of these can come in handy if you’re too busy with your hands to drink. You do have to replace the beer cans with water bottles, though.

I tried firefish. When I tried to do something, I was told my account was suspended for violating the rules. I hadn’t done anything on the platform yet, so I don’t know how I could have violated any rule. It also didn’t tell me which rule I violated.
It has a text to speech option.
There’s ntfy. I’m not sure if that will fit your bill or not.
I don’t think you understand what Open Source is. Open Source just means that the code isn’t hidden. Even if you’re talking about Free Open Source Software (FOSS), the “free” isn’t a reference to the monetary cost of the software.
Then why this sudden influx of attacks? I would assume it’s someone upset at the growth of Lemmy, but I could be totally off base.
I’ve switched to Nextcloud. You can set up your own server, but I use some that are free. You can also encrypt files and auto sync them. I have all of my backup files auto synced to Nextcloud.
I wonder if Spez has anything to do with all the DDOS attacks on so many Lemmy instances.
I thought the sarcasm was obvious.
I find it hard to believe Google would do anything unethical.
As soon as they stop believing politicians
Thanks! I was using a fork of Geometric Weather, but it stopped updating in the background. Hopefully this one works, because I really like it.
The only issue with Audile. Is that you have to sign up for AudD. The cheapest option is $5/month. If you use it a lot, then that could be worth it. I would like to find an open source replacement for SoundHound, but since I only use it, maybe 10 times a year, it isn’t worth $60/year.
