I’m still keeping up the Invidious link since exactly in the Privacy community rules, it says that there can’t be any links with any major tracking requests on it. You can easily just change the link yourself if that’s the case. If none of your friends are on revolt or matrix, that’s an issue on your end. You can just make your own rules and ask people to contact you on only private platforms or via email. Which is exactly what I’ve done when I was migrating from Discord to Revolt.
However, if you absolutely have to use Discord, which I wouldn’t recommend, the least you could do is disable the diagnostics and only use it in a private browser or a open source client like Datcord or Spacebarchat.

No thanks
I’m not trying to brick my system

I tested the new Cosmic Desktop Environment on an experimental laptop, and it performs fairly well. I can’t wait to use it on my main machine. I actually already have Cosmic Shop, Pop Shop is far slower than Cosmic Shop, and it wasn’t even created by System. I’ll definitely uninstall Pop Shop.
I don’t get any of these comments either, I guess this is how it is posting on Lemmy compared to Hexbear lmao Thank you for the tips though and I’ll gladly do so!
No thanks
I went from Mint to Pop OS to increase my customizing options. Mint isn’t very customizable, and installing GNOME or KDE with it may work OK but is not supported and I don’t think it will ever be.
I’ll keep this in mind, thank you!
