I live in Canada and they’re building an LNG plant in my town. Nobody who lives here wants it but the federal government and province do so we can’t do shit about it lol.

Their electrical grid is old and can’t handle the crazy amount of solar energy they’re producing. So they need to run coal plants to keep providing power.
