      i dont know how to explain this without sounding like an incel basically i like reading books i want to read books i cant read books because the schools ive been too (and still in) had did an almost irreversible psychological damage to me and trust me these are some of the worst schools on the planet

        I’m sorry… schools can be shitholes, I know. Ironic that this is pretty much exactly what the poster is talking about. We need better schools but it takes work and work is only done in pursuit of profit for business owners. They have no interest in making better schools because there’s no profit in it, or at least none that they’ll have only for themselves.

        I’m don’t think there’s anything I can tell you that would make it easier… I’m pretty sure there isn’t. This stranger doesn’t know, can’t know what you’re going through but they still believe in you because you’re a human bean. Light and beauty fren. :3

        Being able to tell each other complicated information is empowering. If you can’t read well you will be taken advantage of. Taking back your ability to read is a victory over your schools that were built to keep you down. I don’t know how to help you, but I hope you find a way to win it back.
