Every so often, a video game boss arrives with the subtlety of a grand piano dropped from a third-story window. Sister Splinter, the freaky root-monster of Shellwood, is exactly that kind of boss: loud, thorny, and absolutely determined to flatten Hornet into a silk pancake. As of 2026, players are still getting tangled up in this fight, largely because of its Triple Slam attack, its habit of summoning flying friends, and its talent for turning the arena into a game of Tetris designed by a sadist. But fear not, fellow traveler: this guide will walk through where to find Sister Splinter, how to beat it without losing one’s mind, and what shiny reward awaits after the dust settles.
🌿 Where to Find Sister Splinter (Without Getting Hopelessly Lost)
The route to Sister Splinter winds through Shellwood with the logic of a dream had by a slime mold. Players must progress through the lower layers of Shellwood until they reach the far left shaft leading upward. From there, make the way up, then take the top-right exit into a large room housing a Weaver statue at the very top. For now, exit that room via a door on the right, platform to the right through the next room, then unlock the elevator shortcut above the central Bench. From the central Bench, take the elevator up and go right, jump and slash flowers to reach the top-left of the next room, then continue left until Sister Splinter appears.
The best Bench for this fight is the central Bench in Shellwood, which connects to the elevator shortcut that should be unlocked on the way to the boss. This Bench can be unlocked
