The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other peoples’ money. The trouble with capitalism is that almost everybody runs out of money.

No, that’s the problem with capitalism.

The only problem that socialism ever had is that you could run out of money from capitalist nations trying to overthrow your government while the best resource to generate energy and therefore money is coal, which most socialist nations don’t have in abundance but settler-colonial capitalists ones do from it’s imperialist run during colonial times.

But we don’t live in those times anymore. It’s the 21st century, solar and wind is gaining ground, and therefore China is rising, which it already was because its inferior coal became affordable somewhere during the 20th century.

It’s actually amazing that no new socialist revolution has happened yet and yet plenty of nations tried to and even succeeded in going further to the right, going neo-liberal, neo-conservative or even fascist, and that include attempted or succesful coups, even in China itself.
And this is all happening during a complete socio-economic meltdown,
that should be ushering in socialist nations into becoming full communist.

Overhere, there was a proposal that you get a device in your car that registers where you drive. Then charges you by kilometer and type of road, instead of the fixed tax. The howl of protest was deafening and everybody suddenly was in favor of taxes.
