Marx also railed against metaphysicians, who dogmatically try to apply one set of conditions to an entirely different context, ignoring the particularities. The concrete reality is that the CIA and Mossad were infesting and sparking the protests for the purposes of installing a reactionary monarchy. This isn’t worker liberation, the class interests served are the imperialist bourgeoisie. Without a strong and unified working class, revolution cannot succeed, and so the better organized factions like Mossad and the CIA would be able to take advantage of this.

Did I say CIA, Mossad or other imperialist state were not involve ?

I pointed out that you couldn’t pretend defending the working in class when denying its agency. The movement “jin, jîyan, azadî” started way before the US and Israel operations (2022); kurdish people are organizing for their freedom even before the 1st war of Irak, and one of the few example of real socialism (democratic confederalism).

Yep, the imperialist state try to use those movement; the responsibility of the revolutionary movement inside those imperialist state is to fight the imperialism of their own state, not saping the revolutionary movement in other state

US and Israeli operations within Iran are as old as the current government.

This is just my opinion, but as far as I understand it Iran can’t quit the war unless it gives massive concessions to the people who bombed children and their leadership on the first day of the war DURING NEGOTIATIONS. You can’t opt out of it because the US and Israel clearly won’t accept anything less than neoliberal policy under a puppet regime, they certainly won’t let a socialist government take power. So I believe the logical conclusion for socialists within Iran is to defend their country and people in a platform of national unity. Showing up in the defense of regular people is necessary for regular people to see that socialists actually care about them not dying.

This thread is explicitly about imperialist backing in the recent protests, not just protests in general. We weren’t talking about the kurdish conflict or anything, so it’s weird for your original comment to mock people for correctly accusing heavy foreign involvement.

Strictly speaking, that headline and the articles I’ve read in the Western press, suggest the idea was to incite a rebellion by clearing a path. Meaning by weakening the regime and giving the protestors the opportunity to seize the government.

It doesn’t suggest they were trying what they did in Afghanistan, finding all the incels and giving them money and guns.

Trump and co. aren’t even pretending, which is precisely what they campaigned for as “being authentic” and “telling it like it is”. Liberals, on the other hand, are pretenders.

I mean they waited until a week after they rounded the everyone related to rebellion up and killed them.

Who did they think was left after the 1000+ executions? That might have been legitimate 2 weeks earlier.

If you oppose the Iranian government, do you think whatever replaces it will be better if Mossad and the CIA overthrow it?

I mean, that’s how we got here, so I guess doubling down will only take us to where we are, but with extra effort.

The current government overthrew the US backed monarchy, so in a way it was caused by US intervention but indirectly.

You don’t have to agree with the regime to know US/Israeli attempts to over throw it will be worse for the Iranian people. The external contradiction facing Iran must be overcome before the internal contradictions can be resolved. There is no social growth under imperial boots.

If you are claiming to be a communist then please apply material analysis

I literally had an intense discussion about this in real life and said the same thing. The victims and the perpetrators both agree that CIA and Mossad were trying to affect regime change. But westernern libs know better of course…
