      They are shivering with cold. He will help warm them up (remove the cause of the shivering), but he will keep them shivering, but now because of sexual excitement/antici…pation.

        I always interpreted it as the Dr. being the cause and he’s removing himself (by going up the elevator) but he’s going to leave them with the symptom of being horny. I did a bit of searching and it looks like there’s a number of ways to interpret the line. Yet another reason to love the movie.

          Fun fact you may already know, the actor that played riff raff was the creator of the whole thing!

          Whenever I watch it, I imagine him as the secret mastermind behind it all :D
