Thanks so much for making it possible again. It’s been a long day, just got home, glad it’s done. Now just a few weeks of recovery and changing bandages. Couldn’t have done it without help from here.
I am tired of the way the NHS deals with it though. They wait until the problem develops again, debride it again and then send me home to deal with the bandage changes, and no further help. As this is a recurring problem you’d think there would be some sort of help to stop it happening or deal with it long term? But no. In fact I know I said I wouldn’t do this again but I got so desperate for advice on how to deal with this chronic issue that I ended up re-joining reddit yesterday with a new username, because they have a podiatry subreddit and a diabetes subreddit (my issues aren’t caused by diabetes but a lot of diabetics have this problem and I thought I could get some advice or information from them).
Well, stupid me, of course reddit was no help. I got no advice, nothing useful, just a few people complaining that I’m draining NHS resources, and one person sending me unsolicited, sexually explicit pictures of himself (which I reported and he was banned quickly). What is wrong with those people?
Well, that’s the NHS for you, so useless that without mutual aid I wouldn’t be able to be treated, and always sent away from the surgery with no further help to struggle with this issue alone.
Bourgeois institutions are never in service of the proletariat.
Balkan libs want a “functional country with functioning institutions” like Terf Island. They really believe western liberals.
Congrats on making it comrade. o7
Thank you.
Happy to hear that you got the surgery
Thank you.
You are welcome, friend :>
