    Geeez these comments guys…

So even if you like or dislike pewdiepie. I think him showing of Linux is good. Getting more people to realize Linux exist and is a viable alternative to Windows or Mac is a good thing.

I agree. As more regular people use Linux, it will become more obvious who the gatekeeping losers are and why they should be routinely ignored.

“Think different” to me is “don’t let the people chronically on internet forums dictate your every move.”

Lol the pirate party in the country I’m from was co opted by Nazis

Edit: Why would any one downvote this lol it’s factually true. I’m not saying Pewdipie is a nazi, I’m just stating the facts that the pirate party was co opted by Nazis in the country I’m from and basically had to disband.

Not trying to be a dick, i simply don’t know, but what does that have to do with the post and pewdiepie?

Well in the post the OP stated that Pewdiepie was a supporter of the pirate party as if this negated any claims to him being right wing. I just wanted to point out that the pirate party can have right wing elements as was the case here.

Edit I’m not trying to be a dick but what did adding that statement at the bottom of the post have to do with pewdiepie using Linux?

I for one am very happy to see! He is a great influence to a lot of people and showing that Linux isn’t scary will boost numbers by a solid amount ✌️

Does Hyprland work well for gaming compared to KDE? Can it do HDR, VRR and so on?

Always wanted to try a tiling WM but was afraid of losing features.

Never tried hyperland, but if you want tiling, I think COSMIC is a very user friendly tiling de. I don’t think they do HDR yet though, but it is still in alpha.

Awesome! I hope he will help share this with more folks, the friends who I’ve talked into finally giving modern non-Ubuntu Linux a shot love it, but there’s a lot of work to get over the damaged image created by the countless “linux user installing a browser” memes. I’m sure someone with his reach can help though :)

He’s an attention-seeking edgelord and a buffoon, but I highly doubt the Nazi allegations. This comes from someone who genuinely believes in the right to punch Nazis. We need to be careful about throwing the Nazi-card in all directions, or the real ones will slip through the cracks (some have already managed to skip into positions of power while us plebs are squabbling). He did a couple of insanely stupid things that he should have grown out of by age 15, hopefully he learned from that.

Well, I see the problem now. Punching people doesn’t solve Nazism.

If you were advocating for reeducating them, revoking their right to vote, or even putting them in prison, fine. But punching people is just some weird power fantasy, “I’m better than you because I beat you up.”

The fact you think beating people up just to feel dominant or whatever is good politics shows you have a lot in common with Pewds… and, well, Nazis.

This is one of the most libbed up things I’ve ever seen a lemmygrad user post… Are you just a wrecker account?

Are you saying the CPC is libbed up for deliberately using reeducation and formal justice systems to resolve the recurrent terrorism problem in Xinjiang rather than using force and naked brutality like liberal “democracies” usually do? Keeping in mind that the Xinjiang policies have been effective while imperialist violence has deepened and entrenched conflicts, and that those ongoing conflicts which have been resolved through pure force specifically use lethal weapons and mass execution, not some embarrassing discount Incredible Hulk imitation.

Or I guess we should be real here that you’re just fedposting.

Ok good luck with your state-sponsored reeducation programs in your Nazi-adjacent Western democracies where the left holds no political power 👍.

For everyone else who has a fucking clue: when your government has a gestapo police state that rounds up and deports the people the state has deemed undesirable, guess what? The Nazis are already in control.

How about you being ashamed about parroting unbased allegations. PewDiePie never showed significant evidence he is a Nazi and transphobic. The two mistakes he did in his 1000ands hours of content he apologized and condemned the behavior.

The words nazi and transphobe have lost their meaning because of how much hysterical people have used them when they’re not applicable.

Holy stockholm syndrome. Nazi and transphobe have lost their meaning because we lives in a transphobic nazi society.

He was already 29 or 30 back then. Obviously you can grow to be a better person even when you are a grown ass man but definately a different situation when people do stupid stuff in their teenage years. It makes you question that was it genuine or did he do it to secure his income.

So like, the older I get the more I realize the myth of the mature adult is just that, a myth.

Most adults are immature as fuck and we don’t realize it as kids because they either keep their immaturity hidden from us or they’re hidden from us by society.

There are of course mature adults, but most adults are just big kids who never learned to take responsibility for themselves.
