Kim Jong-un is very passive in terms of foreign policy; he has never invaded a country.
North Korea really puts a lie to the whole “if Iran gets nukes there gonna bomb NYC tomorrow” . Kim has had nukes for a decade and has never done anything with them.
We just can’t imagine the “bad guys” would want nukes for defense and deterrence and not to just blow us all up immediately because the movies tell us that’s what bad guys do.
While true, it only takes one bad guy who is madder than the rest to do it and then we have the potential for a nuclear apocalypse.
The least people with this opportunity the better in my opinion…
Yeah, imagine that… It would be CRAZY if a megalomaniac had nukes. Good thing there isn’t a demented, desperate, deranged man at the helm of any countries with nukes.

That’s true in general but in our specific case, the worst people to have nukes were the first to get them and now it’s up to everyone else to ensure their own safety

You have to show the USAmerican govt and its allies that you have the capabilities to defend yourself and it will be a tough fight, so that they do not think of doing an Iraq or trying the current actions on Iran n all.
I think many people now understand why the Koreans were right to posture, pursue and project self-reliance and capabilities of self-defense, even while they were being villainised by USAmerican govt and their media
