The Vancouver public transit integrity test

The card reader at the front of the bus isn’t working. Do you walk to the back door to go out of your way and pay the fare or just sit down?

I’m almost surprised how many are honest and still paying, myself included.

When I was younger, I would have taken the free ride.

Now that I understand how public transit is funded, and perpetually underfunded, I am happy to pay for it, and use it whenever I can.

    P.s. I’m writing this on a T bus.

I would. I want to support the system I use. When too much revenue is lost that’s when scared CEO start making stupid decisions.

I think public transit should be free to ride. How many billions do we invest in roads? Yet there’s supposedly no ROI on public transit?
