Ever heard of the patron-client system? It fucked up direct democracy every single time, and would resurface hard in politics.

It wouldn’t be viewed in this light, just as current vote X no matter who aren’t percieved as corrupted. Ever heard of the patron-client system? It fucked up direct democracy every single time, and would resurface hard in politics.
