To be fair to Metallica, Metal, along with various “outcast” and “manly” hobbies/interest, have been infested with political tourist. It’s why these hobbies have fanbases that are just insane, but do have money to spend. It’s grim, shit sucks.
There’s also a ton of white supremacists, I don’t think Metallica would particularly lose any fans but I bet some metal groups would actually lose fans supporting Israel lol.
