In a better reality, Blizzard would’ve studied the code and fallen in love with the things that made Blizzard successful in the first place; a decent fucking game.
Then, they would’ve released the source code on GitHub as a “thank you”.
The fans, admiring what Blizzard had done, happily supported the company & Microsoft never bought it, because Microsoft had spent all of their money creating a space prison for the corporate elite & corrupted leaders of Earth.
And everyone but those in the Space Prison lived happily ever after, and Earth didn’t become yet another dead rock orbiting a flaming ball of gas, floating through the cosmos inside of the mouth of a turtle with 4 elephants on its back.
