I think perhaps the Eaton5p 650i gen2 or the Eaton 5sc 750i. Just need enough power to safely shutdown my qnap nas 453pro, and regulate clean power for my Dreammachine.

Any thoughts?

Cyberpower OR600ERM1U or similar are nice - or the OL1000ERTXL2U if you want a online usv.

Not that the Eatons are bad, they are a little bit nicer in a few things, but often also more expensive.

I have a lot of time for Eaton kit. As others have said, not cheap but seems to work well. I’ve not used APC in a while but they used to make good hardware, even if their software was dogshit.

I have an apc 3000 which is a fantastic device. But it uses more power than my pc, switch, router and ap’s combined. The grid is stable enough for me to rely on things to survive or can be restored from either the local or the offsite backup.

You can probably find a decent APC UPS on facebook marketplace. Be prepared to buy a battery; I’ve used generics without any major issues.
