There’s absolutely zero chance AI use ‘becomes a poison pill’ in code at this point. That would implicate effectively every major company on the planet right now, so there’s zero chance any government would ever do something to bring about that scenario. At absolute worst it would simply stop future AI development while letting anything already built go.
the linux foundation is not a major company and it’s in the interest of some of those aforementioned major companies to get the foundation into legal trouble.
